Data Deletion
How to request deletion of your Cloth Goblin data, including any data connected through Instagram.
Delete your whole account
Sign in, open My Account, and use the Danger Zone → Cancel my account control. This permanently erases your profile, reactions, travel lists, tag suggestions, authentication credentials, and — if you have one — your organization’s Instagram connection and cached Instagram posts. The action is irreversible.
Delete only your Instagram data
If you only want to remove the Instagram connection and cached posts (not your whole account), you have two options:
- Sign in as the organization admin, open the Org Panel → Overview, and click Disconnect on the Instagram card. The connection, the encrypted access token, and the auto-feed cache are removed immediately.
- In the Instagram app on your phone: Settings → Apps and websites → Active → Cloth Goblin → Remove. Meta will then notify us and we will automatically delete the connection and cached posts on our side as well.
Email us instead
If you can’t access your account or prefer to email, send a deletion request to support@clothgoblin.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address on your Cloth Goblin account and, if you’re requesting Instagram-specific deletion, the Instagram handle that was connected. We respond within 30 days, usually within a few business days.
